Solving the Human + Cyber Equation
Organisations must rethink the delicate balance between human expertise and technological capabilities. In this session, Integrity360’s CTO Richard Ford and Director of Product Management Brian Martin will deliver an immersive exploration of the critical factors shaping today’s security environment. Opening with forward-looking insights inspired by the latest industry trends, we’ll answer the question: Human + Cyber = What?

Hijacking our psychology: why we fall for scams and how to prevent it
Most of us believe that we won’t be the one to fall for a scam, but that very certainty can make us more likely to fall prey. Scams are increasingly sophisticated in their execution, but even the most simple ones use our own psychology against us. Anyone can fall victim in a moment of distraction, tiredness, or when a scam is particularly well designed. This talk will look at how scammers exploit human vulnerabilities in phishing scams, online romance and other scams. It will also look at how we can protect ourselves and our organisations, and how to create a culture of cyber security.
• What is social engineering?
• How are we targeted and what makes us vulnerable?
• Manipulating common human motivations.
• Hijacking our cognitive biases.
• Persuading us to act against our best interests.
• Protecting ourselves and our organisations.
Panel: Minds over Malware: discussing the human factor in cyber security
Technology alone can’t win the cyber security battle—humans remain the strongest defence and the weakest link. This panel, featuring cyber psychology expert Dr Nicola Fox Hamilton, explores the role of human behaviour in security, the importance of diverse thinking, social engineering risks and cognitive biases in decision-making. Discover how organisations can better understand, educate, and empower people to strengthen cyber resilience. From phishing tactics to insider threats, this session unpacks the psychology of cyber security and how an organisation can build a security-aware culture that actually works.

Fake it till you break it: combating Deepfakes & AI trickery
How do you defend against what you can’t trust your eyes or ears to detect? We’ll dive into the growing challenge of deepfake technology, exploring how it can bypass traditional security controls, erode trust, and be weaponised for social engineering and disinformation . We’ll also look at the solutions that can combat this new and growing challenge.
